As the cheerful tone of Rabia echoed through the house, everyone stirred from their slumber, curious about the source of the commotion. Rabia, brimming with happiness, was on cloud nine as her son had returned home after four long years in Canada, pursuing his Ph.D. in Chemistry.

But despite his reserved nature, he had a soft spot for his mother and always had a special bond with her. He had left home feeling like a disappointment, unable to fulfill his family's expectations of leading the family business.
Deep down, he had always harbored a dream of becoming a doctor since childhood. However, his passion for chemistry took hold during his preparation for medical entrance exams, leading him to pursue it as his major. Despite his father's disapproval, he excelled academically, making his parents proud with his bachelor's degree from a prestigious university in India.
His father, a typical Indian dad, had hoped he would either become a doctor or join the family business. Despite his attempts to persuade him, his father couldn't shake the notion that he might eventually return to the family fold. However, he was determined to follow his heart and pursue his passion, earning a master's degree in chemistry from Germany before returning to India briefly.
His exceptional academic record led to admission offers from top universities worldwide, and he ultimately chose to pursue his phD at Stanford University. Now, after wrapping up his research work in Canada, he had returned home unannounced, ready to reunite with his family and share the news of his accomplishments.
